Alongside our sister cathedrals of Bradford and Wakefield, we are here to welcome and serve those of all faiths and none, in this 21st century Diocese of Leeds.

All services are open to everyone whether you are a regular worshipper; a visitor passing through; someone in need of a few moments of peace for prayer; or ‘just curious.’

This ancient building in the heart of one of our smallest cities attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors, pilgrims and worshippers from across the nation and beyond these shores.
With its blend of architectural styles and its many unique features from the Anglo-Saxon crypt, the oldest built fabric of any English cathedral, to the charming Tudor misericords – there is something for everyone.
