Festive Stalls, Mulled Wine and Seasonal Delights at the Christmas Fair
Ripon Cathedral’s hugely popular Christmas Gift and Food Fair takes place across two days on Friday, November 22 and Saturday, November 23.
November 12, 2024
Visitors can explore a fantastic selection of stalls offering perfect Christmas gifts, stocking fillers, and maybe even a little something special for yourself. Sip on mulled wine and indulge in festive treats at the pop-up café, where you’ll find hot turkey sandwiches, mince pies, homemade cakes, hot chocolate, and more—all while enjoying the sounds of Christmas music.
As promised there will be free parking and a shuttle bus to and from the event on both days. On the Friday there will be a bus ran by Boroughbridge Community Charity from Ripon City Golf Club on Palace Road and on the Saturday Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate will run a bus from Additive-X on the College Business Park on Kearsley Road.
Adding to the seasonal atmosphere there will be music and singing from a talented array of choirs from local churches, schools and community groups. Children will have their own festive craft activities which they can participate in.
The fair opens at 9.30am and closes at 4.30pm on both days. Entry is £5 payable on the door – entry is free for accompanied children. You can pre book your tickets by following this link Christmas Food & Gift Fair – Ripon Cathedral. As a bonus, all pre-booked ticket holders will receive a free ticket to be entered into the raffle.
