Welcome in spring at Ripon Cathedral’s Food, Home & Garden Fair on Saturday March 29; a day filled with delicious food, inspiring home furnishings, stunning garden accessories and plants.

New for 2025 are garden-themed discussions and demonstrations by local experts in the splendour of the medieval quire: perhaps acquire a new skill or refine an existing one.

The cathedral will be bustling with over 80 fabulous stalls, showcasing a mix of local and independent traders, including familiar favourites and fresh faces. Explore an array of gardening products, homewares, local delicacies, and various children’s activities including a mobile petting farm featuring spring animals from Riggmoor Reindeers. Children are also welcome to join poet and author Olivia Mulligan for a story time reading of her new book, Reggie From The Hedgie. Try your hand at the chocolate tombola and spin the wheel game, run by the choristers of Ripon Cathedral Choir. Live music performances from local groups throughout the day are all included in the £5 admission fee (under 16s free).

Don’t miss the pop-up café serving delicious pulled pork sandwiches, homemade cakes, and hot beverages all day long.

The Spring Show is a fantastic day out to celebrate springtime, with something for all the family and raises vital funds for the mission, heritage conservation, music and education programme at Ripon Cathedral. The day before Mother’s Day it offers a last chance to find that perfect gift!
