Thursday Lunchtime Concert – Lucinda Taylor – Harp
Lucinda started playing the harp when she was 7 years of age. She has played at many weddings and background events such as in restaurants and hotels. Also, she has played for other events such as the ‘mayor-making’ ceremony in her home town and wedding fayres across both North and East Yorkshire.
She has taken part in many masterclasses and residentials in both orchestras and as a soloist, including the Catrin Finch Academy, run by Catrin, a former Royal Harpist, and her first teacher, Elinor Bennett, with 10 other international harpists for two years. More recently, she had the privilege of participating in a masterclass with Claire Jones, another former Royal Harpist and also at her International Harp School down in Cardigan, Wales where she played with the American Youth Harp Ensemble.
Lucinda will play music by Hasselmans, Pescetti & Pamela Wedgwood
The concerts take place 1 – 1.50pm in the stunning setting of the medieval quire with drinks and biscuits served from 12.30pm
