Sights and Sounds of Ripon 2024

Sights and Sounds of Ripon community event is back!

A celebration of Ripon’s local charities, public service providers and voluntary organisations. The event is jointly hosted by Ripon Library, Ripon Museums and the cathedral, with over 40 different staffed organisational stands, a pop-up café and performances by various local choirs and dance groups and Ripon Poetry Festival, spread across the three venues.

The annual event is a great way to explore the city and find out more about the amazing range of opportunities to get active; venues involved include ourselves, the museums and library. There’s something for everyone and families are especially welcome.

The event is organised by North Yorkshire Council as part of the Ripon My Neighbourhood partnership which involves a wide range of public and voluntary sector organisations working together, focusing on the Ripon Minster ward.
