Royal Northern Sinfonia By Candlelight

The wonderful musicians of Royal Northern Sinfonia, directed by leader Maria Włoszczowska and co-leader Kyra Humphreys come to Ripon Cathedral as part of their tour of the region’s most beautiful churches during Advent.

Playing a selection of beautiful, atmospheric pieces carefully chosen to make you feel warm from the inside out. 17th century masters J.S. Bach and Telemann sit side by side with ground-breaking modern composers like Eric Whitacre in the warm, glittering glow of candlelight.

This concert is expected to last approximately 2 hours, including a 20 minute interval.
