Ripon Choral Society presents Mendelssohn Elijah

In this joint concert with Wetherby Choral Society, Elijah is a fitting finale to our season. Mendelssohn’s oratorio depicts events in the life of the prophet Elijah. Conceived on an epic scale, its drama, operatic style and stirring choruses have ensured its continuing popularity. Joyful music for a summer’s evening in the dramatic setting of Ripon Cathedral.
