Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols – Christmas Eve

The cathedral’s celebrations of Christmas once again include the traditional Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols when the story of Christmas is told in readings and music from Ripon Cathedral Choir. You can watch the streamed Christmas Eve service via the cathedral YouTube channel.

Tickets

Please note that as per 2024, this will be a ticketed service due to its popularity and for safety reasons.

You can book by following the link below. There is a maximum of 4 tickets available per person.

Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email, please check your Spam and/or Junk folders – this email acts as your ticket and can be printed or brought on your device on the day.

Timings

The doors will open at 4pm, with everyone seated by 5.10pm for the service to start at 5.30pm.
