A Concert of Remembrance

Ripon Cathedral partners with the Ripon Community Poppy Project to present an unforgettable evening of music and remembrance in this magnificent setting.

Performers for the evening:

• Brackenfield School Junior Choir – Award-winning young voices (Harrogate Festival Champions 2014, 2018 & 2023)
• Dishforth Military Wives Choir – Heartfelt performances from those who truly understand service and sacrifice
• Charlotte Potter – Acclaimed soprano who has graced venues from Westminster to the BBC Proms, returning after her moving D-Day anniversary performance
• Izzy Howard – Internationally celebrated violinist who has performed at Wigmore Hall and with the London Symphony Orchestra
• North Skelton Band – Traditional brass excellence
• Dr Richard Martin – Cathedral organist bringing majestic accompaniment

Your compère for the evening is Mark Sidwell.

The concert is part of the annual November commemorations featuring spectacular knitted poppy displays throughout the cathedral.
