The Piccadilly Sinfonietta presents a Christmas Family Concert by Candlelight

Enjoy an outstanding musical evening with all the family in the days after Christmas with a performance of Rachmaninov’s timeless classic, the 2nd Piano Concerto. The programme also includes Vivaldi’s ever-popular Four Seasons, and Pachelbel’s Canon in D. The perfect family treat in the stunning candlelit setting of Ripon Cathedral.

We are particularly thrilled to welcome local celebrity violinist Bradley Creswick, known for his long-standing association with the Royal Northern Sinfonia to lead the exceptional musicians of The Piccadilly Sinfonietta alongside renowned concert piano Warren Mailley-Smith.

Since its formation in 2017, the Piccadilly Sinfonietta have become a regular feature on the UK concert scene, giving over 200 performances a year in some of the country’s most beautiful and prestigious venues. The ensemble comprises some of the most prodigious musical talent and performs exclusively with leading virtuoso soloists. The group performs under the artistic direction of its founder, concert pianist Warren Mailley-Smith and focuses on the virtuoso concerto repertoire of the baroque, classical and early romantic periods.
