Ripon's Summer Chorale Finale was a resounding success with a standing ovation for our acclaimed choir.
The programme took the audience from I was Glad by Sir Hubert Parry, composed for the coronation of King Edward VII - to Irving Berlin's Puttin' on the Ritz.

We are looking forward to welcoming a choir from Prenzlau in Germany on Tuesday July 14. The choir will perform a free lunchtime concert at 1pm accompanied by our Director of Music Dr Ronny Krippner.

Hundreds gathered for a Festal Eucharist with 1,000 more watching at home, as the cathedral was lit by 10,000 candles. Candlemas celebrates the presentation of the infant Christ at the temple, where he was recognised by the old man Simeon as a light for all the world.
