The much-loved Ripon Pancake Races are back! 
Organised by the fantastic Rotary Club of Ripon Rowels, this centuries-old tradition is a joyful mix of history, hilarity, and very competitive pancake flipping.

Teams of up to 4, sign up on the dayChildren, local businesses, clergy and community groups race for prizes, certificates, and the ultimate prize – the Golden Frying Pan 
New this year: racers must stop at three marked points to complete a pancake flip before continuing.Coming along with little ones? Join us from 10am for our Pancake Day Activity Morning inside Ripon Cathedral, with pancake decorating (£1), crafts, and the chance to watch the race before returning for more activities.
Everyone is welcome, whether you’re racing, crafting, cheering, or simply soaking up the atmosphere. We can’t wait to see you there!
