We are delighted to have received a grant of £16,450 from Cathedral Music Trust to support travel bursaries for the choristers and to help fund development of our choir chaperones team.

Dean John said, ‘We at Ripon Cathedral are blessed by the wonderful contribution made by our choirs and music foundation to our worship and life. It is a true joy to see music here flourishing so well; we never take this for granted of course and continue to invest in its development. We are therefore extremely grateful for the recent grant from the Cathedral Music Trust.’

A huge thank you to Cathedral Music Trust and its generous supporters, whose donations make grants like this possible to sustain cathedral music across the UK and Ireland.

The grant will be celebrated at the St Wilfrid Patronal Evensong with Choir Alumni on Saturday 10 October at 5.30pm.
