With the Cathedral Choir taking a well-earned break over summer, we’ll be welcoming a number of visiting choirs to sing Sunday services and some evensongs. You are welcome to join us for worship, which takes place every day, beginning with morning prayer and including daily services of Holy Communion. This summer, from July 3 to August 4, we present the powerful third part of a unique textile trilogy, tracing the life of Jesus from birth to resurrection and Pentecost.

Tickets are on sale from the shop or our website for our Summer Choir Concert on Saturday 5th July – the choral year finale before the choir sings at Westminster Abbey. It promises to be a wonderful evening of music, both moving and joyful. In proms style, bring your family, friends, flags and fine voices!

Our popular free Thursday Lunchtime Concerts are held most weeks during term time in the stunning stetting of the quire.
Light refreshments are served from 12.30 pm, with the concerts at 1 pm.
