Join us this autumn for a creative morning as we explore the Parable of the Sower through hands-on activities.
Children will make pine cone bird feeders, paper birds, seed collages, and a paper flower garden, bringing the story to life whilst having fun making and creating.

The commitment of Geoffrey Johnson after half a century of bell ringing – was celebrated this weekend with the dedication of a plaque. Geoffrey was one of the band who restored ringing to the cathedral in the 1970s – the bells had been silent for years. He is also Ripon’s civic Bellman – ringing the opening of the market every Thursday morning!

From a fundraising banquet to a great Feast Day on Sunday – it has been a celebratory weekend as we thanked God for our great founding bishop, St. Wilfrid.
A highlight was the installation of a new High Steward, Mr Richard Compton, who will act as an ambassador for the cathedral. Mr Compton runs nearby Newby Hall & Gardens.

As we celebrated our founding patron saint St Wilfrid we also celebrated the 30th Anniversary of The Girls’ Choir!
Some of its original members were amongst the alumni that joined our current choir to help lead our worship at a special Patronal Evensong.
